OUR STORY
Cocola Italian Hairdressers represents the realisation of the dream life of Antonella Cocola, its founder. With more than 30 years of experience in fashion and hairdressing in Italy, Antonella decided to move to London to bring her experience and artistic talents, and combine these with new sources of inspiration for her bespoke hair creations.
Here at Cocola Italian Hairdressers, we believe in sharing experiences for the better, and when it comes to working alongside your own family, it makes it more exciting. For this, we have combined the know-how of our family members to create a staff of experts in hairdressing and hair repair treatments.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Our philosophy is to combine forefront cutting and colouring techniques with Italian taste and deliver bespoke hairstyles and consultations to each client.
We reject similarity, ensuring no two designs are the same - we promote diversity. We believe hairdressing represents a unique way to enhance beauty through the harmony of shapes and colours.
We look at hairdressing as a craft, with each style for every client an individual, personal artwork. As a result, each service delivered by our team members is exclusive to each client.
FOUNDERS
ANTONELLA
Art Director
Antonella is an Italian hairdresser with more than 30 years of experience working in hair design at the forefront of hair salons in Turin, Italy.
Her career started back in the 80s, working with women, styling unique and tailor-made solutions for all hair types.
Antonella has become passionate about beauty and decided that hairdressing will be her vocation for the rest of her life.
Her unique skill set sees that she is able to promote diversity through her creations to enhance individual beauty. She always looks for new inspirations and despite her long career, she thinks of herself as being a "beauty apprentice".
LUCA
Stylist & Haircare Specialist
Luca is Antonella's son, and during his education in mechanical engineering, he used to attend Antonella's hair salon in Turin, where he discovered his inclination towards the artistic license that goes into hairdressing and realized his passion for beauty.
In 2020, he moved to London, where he attended colouring and advanced haircare treatment training. He has become a Haircare Specialist implementing luxury hair treatments.
Luca looks at hairdressing to express his artistic propensity and looks at women's beauty as a source of his inspiration.
GIORGIA
Customer Experience Manager & Haircare Specialist
Giorgia is Antonella's daughter and ever since she was a child growing up in a hairdressing environment, she was fascinated by her mum's creations.
After she got a master's degree in International Management, she started her career in the premium food industry as a Customer Care Manager.
However, her curiosity and passion for challenge, have driven this family project for an Italian Hairdressers in the heart of London. She cares about the happiness of each client, providing a customer experience at its finest.
